    Job Description:Show Director applicants must possess a strong dance background, have great enthusiasm, and possess excellent public speaking and performance skills and experience. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and a sense of maturity in communication and decision making.

    The applicant must be completely computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office software products, and familiar with a networked environment. They must be comfortable learning new computer programs and be able to trouble shoot computer issues that may arise during an event.

    Show Directors are in direct contact with the Studio Directors and teachers. Therefore, the individual must possess exceptional customer service skills and have the ability to mediate and resolve issues as they occur.

    Other job requirements include the ability to manage a diverse group of employees, as well as oversee competition judges, vendors, and support groups. They will be required to lift up to 40 pounds, work long hours, and stay calm in a sometimes stressful, but exciting environment.

    Job Description:Event Staff personnel will possibly work in any or all of the following areas throughout the competition season.

    Event Manager- The primary objective of the Event Manager is to oversee all employee, facility, and participant activities, and to work hand-in-hand with the Show Director to ensure a smooth running and timely event.

    Retail Manager – The primary objective of the Retail Manager is to meet retail sales goals by overseeing the retail area, promoting merchandise sales, providing excellent customer service, maintaining inventory control, and balancing cash drawers to event sales statistics.

    Stage Manager - The primary objective of the Stage Manager is to keep the show order running smoothly, while maintaining a fun and relaxed environment back stage.

    Master of Ceremonies (MC) - The primary objective of the MC is to keep the show running smoothly in conjunction with the Stage Manager, run the sound system and lighting program, and to provide an entertaining dialogue throughout the event.

    Event Manager- The primary objective of the Event Manager is to oversee all employee, facility, and participant activities, and to work hand-in-hand with the Show Director to ensure a smooth running and timely event.
